I got away to watch this with out any interruptions. Not that I really care too much but it is sad that the Democrat isn't even going to get challenged this cycle while the current president is a better candidate than both, if he could run of course. GOP panders to too many bases and if you don't cover enough of them, you get called a RINO. Not to mention, the electorate doesn't favor them in the slightest. The semi-sensible ones like a Kasich this cycle or Huntsman last cycle get disposed of fairly quickly. They are going to get slaughtered next year. Republicans need a clean install on everything in relation to where we are as a country and to a lesser extent, the world.

my take...

trump and carson lost some steam but not too much. however, over time it will get more and more obvious they dont know enough on foreign matters
fiorina went up considerably, positioning herself as the anti hillary attack dog
rand paul is the smartest one there, and that is why he cant possibly get his party's nomination
cristie did ok but no one from the south would vote for a guy like this. he's just up there to try to get a good job appointment from the winner
jeb did slightly better when he showed some emotion, he still aint shyt
rubio, walker, cruz, and huckabee all need to drop out
kasich should stick around since he is the least nationally tainted and crazy without being despised by his own party like rand is. he could be the guy they go with when they realize they have to come back from the right toward the middle.

this is all academic because demographically they are screwed. rand paul's domestic policy has elements in it that could get more minority votes than bush ever could, but of course rand is going to be running out of money soon and announce the suspension of his candidacy before the 3rd debate (my prediction)
