Sounds like somebody taught yall incorrectly...the funny thing is as kids in the 90s we where taught never to trust google as a legitimate source for research.
How the fukk did they screw such a simple tool up? I put in words, and hit search, and you give me results for what I put. Anytime you google now, especially the more specific it is, you're lucky if you'll get any results related to what you're looking for.
fukk the CEO of that company for ruining that shyt.
OP is right. Google manipulates search both in google-search and on youtube.
They have a policy on youtube of prioritizing "non-fringe opinion" safe content - which ultimately means corporate. They also do this in the suggested videos algorithm.
A lot of the smaller channels have noticed and have spoken about it.
youtube algorithm corporate - YouTube
They manipulate search as well by double guessing what you mean.
The clock is ticking on the usefulness of google search.

Maybe Im different but honestly, nowadays, I don't even see the need for conventional search engines unless you looking for porn, some type of exclusive merchandising, or something else beyond specific on the internet.
It feels like most anything in general you want is already curated on social media websites, YouTube videos, wikis, etc.
Do people really look for non-commercial "websites" of their interests like that anymore?
You were most likely told not to cite it as a source but to not use itthe funny thing is as kids in the 90s we where taught never to trust google as a legitimate source for research.
It's been like that for a couple years. Noticed it when I can't even Google phone numbers.
