Why YSK:
Previously, quotes were enough to indicate that a word or phrase should be searched for exactly, without interpretations or similar terms.
Now, quotes are used to group several words as a single term, but no longer to indicate an exact search.

To do it, go to tools (menu to the right of All, Images, Videos, Shopping, etc., after More), click on the All results option and choose Verbatim.

Maybe Im different but honestly, nowadays, I don't even see the need for conventional search engines unless you looking for porn, some type of exclusive merchandising, or something else beyond specific on the internet.

It feels like most anything in general you want is already curated on social media websites, YouTube videos, wikis, etc.

Do people really look for non-commercial "websites" of their interests like that anymore?

But yeah even looking past that Google is trash now. Most of your top search results is just sponsored ads and YouTube links. Google can't do much for me besides direct me right back to a wiki page or a YouTube video anyway.
