From being just a glorified web browser machine to a legit competitor, Chromebooks truly came a long way from how they used to be:

  • They are quick and very responsive

  • Google Docs>>>>>Office

  • There's a laptop for anybody (student, media enthusiast, businessman, gamer)

  • Schools are pushing hard to make use of the OS

  • Google Play Store finally coming into full effect with the OS

  • Frequent updates

These features alone are enough for anybody looking for a laptop without dealing with the overpriced Macbooks and Windows laptops that end up obsolete by the end of the year. I think its about time to squash this "lol Chromebook" argument by embracing the future of laptops:banderas:.

Thoughts:ehh:

I said in another thread that I'm kicking myself in the ass for not getting a Chromebook a few years ago. I got one for free through FiOS and haven't touched my Windows laptop for anything and my PC only to game. It's a cheap one, obviously, and I still love it...and I'm what you would consider a Windows "power user". Having Android apps run so smoothly on the computer is a game changer for me + Crossover to run Windows apps. I know all about the Android emulators but it's not comparable to a Chromebook

Breh, my wife still use her Chromebook from 2014 and it still does wonders. The cheap 150 dollar Asus laptop I bought her ended up collecting dust. I cleaned Windows off of it and put Bliss OS on that jawn (Chrome OS alternative), and it feels brand new:wow:. Giving that laptop to my son on his birthday.

shyt, you got me thinking now...I have two older laptops sitting around because the hardware is trash for a Windows machine nowadays. I think you just gave me something to do this weekend...does Bliss support Google Play Store?

they gave my son one of these for school seems very reliable and quick for what he uses it for.

The crazy thing is that school districts don't really have to buy chromebooks, but older laptops and put this OS on it:

It just like my son's school trying to milk parents into help do fundraisers just to get fukking Macbooks and Ipads:scust:. I'm like, breh yall better get that surplus and throw Cloud Ready on them jawns:gucci:.

I keep leaning more and more toward the Chromebook wave whenever I get around to replacing my personal computer. Just not sure what specs I need.

If you want something that could replace the PC as far as well rounded features, the Pixelbook Go is well worth the cop:

It fixed the issues of the last Pixelbook. The only drawback is that its not a 360 angle laptop and its expensive for just a typical laptop, but its well worth the cop if you want something premium.

Now the one I got is this:

I always hated HP anything, but this baby made me a believer in what they do. Ever since I copped this laptop, I been crazy productive with schedules, notes, and etc.
