i dont follow the 76ers like i do other teams but why get rid of lou williams? he's been steadily increasing his productivity and is only 25yrs old? during the playoffs all they kept talking about was jrue and lou are gonna be a great tandem, etc... im not sure i get that move for nick young of all people

Lou Williams already knows the system
Brand already knows the sytem and is still a solid player, you still got to pay his salary. You cut him and make your team weaker and make another team stronger. It's a terrible move.

And they couldn't learn playing with Elton Brand? Elton Brand couldn't mentor them.
We're not trying to get stronger. We can't keep being mediocre. I like the fact they're only signing 1 and 2 year deals. And amnestying Brand means that the draft picks will get more playing time.
They're prepping for next offseason when they'll be 25-30 million under the cap.

elton brand leaving or staying doesnt really change the team except to add an unlikely belief that he would actually be decent. he wont.
lou williams is 60% horrible but a self made scorer so he kept himself in the team. i dont get the nick young signing but he was cheap
i think if they are gonna rebuild they should do it right and strip down completely
keep young, turner, jrue. keep the 2 draft picks, since you cant really get shyt for them. keep either vuc or lavoy. package other with iggy for a salary dump or some young prospects. the rest can peace out
