Also one of my all-time favorite movies... Great dialog, excellent characters, great story. Might have to watch it in the next few days in honor of his passing. I watched Dead Poets Society last night.

I liked this movie, but I don't think it is a classic movie. I don't know, maybe I getting tired of Affleck and Damon. There was period of time, I didn't of time I didn't even want to watch the movie, because Affleck was in it.

If you look at it, it almost could be a play, the dialogue, certain scenes etc.

But Robin Williams definitely killed it in his role, he deserved that Oscar.

I also thought Skarsgard or what that head professor's name was, killed his role too.

Dead Poets Society was way better:manny:

Yeah, I liked this movie but not a classic to me. Robin Williams performance just outshined everybody and I'm not even a stan. Matt Damon. I just didn't buy the tough guy role. And when Robin yoked that niguh up I was done. Yeah, he was trolling him but still. I just couldn't buy it. Didn't buy his accent either. Affleck. Eh. Good film. Would watch again.

Not sure if this was discussed but White privledged was evident in this. This dude got away with so much stuff and because he was genius that dude was trying to help him.

Did Namond get away with his shyt on "The Wire" because of "black privilege"?

What was Namond charged with? Compare that (I don't remember him being charged with anything but I'll play along that he got away with something) with what Will did? Do the 2 compare?

In the case of Will, I'd call it genius privilege before anything else If his IQ was closer to Casey Affleck's character, he's not getting shyt deferred.

One of my favourite movies. It's one of those movies that you don't mind seeing again when it comes on TV, because it had everything - from comedy to drama.
