Just saw this piff with one of my bros for the first time today
The pacing and the dialogue in this shyt was on point. To Damon and Affleck for writing such a fantastic script, and for inspiring me and my homie to get started on the screenwriting tip.
lol. Good Will Hunting is the story of your life. LMAO. so you are intelligent and underachieve huh? so are alot of people. The thing about this story is that he was a genius, that was central. He wasn't just a smart dude underachieving, he was a beautiful mind type dude who was flying way under his ability. not only that, but i dont think he was the type to claim he is intelligent on web forums, if anything he downplayed and tried to hide his intelligence at just about every oppurtunity.
but either way son, if you watched the movie and thought, "hey im just like that, oh well" you kinda missed the most important part of the movie.
you know the part where he actually leaves to pursue his ability
That it's not your fault scene, him sonning that douche about his education, the therapist and the teacher, every scene of his in therapy, and him telling Minnie Driver he don't love her all were great

Minnie Driver is bad as fukk. She looked good damn near 15 years later in Conviction
Ally Michalka looks like her with bigger titties and blond hair
Never really felt Minnie Driver like I did in this movie. She aiight, but it must have been the role she was playing, cause I was looking at her like throughout the whole movie. Especially when she was chilling at the spot wit Damon and the Afflecks and telling the joke about the old chick giving her man his first blowjob.
In light of recent events, I watched this movie for the 1st time last night and it is every bit as good as all you guys mentioned it is for various reasons. For me, the biggest takeaway from the movie was there were no really antagonists, the MIT professor just wanted Will to become a legendary mathematician, something he could never obtained despite his own accomplishments. Chuckie seemed like a typical Boston schmuck, but really was a loyal best friend to Will and wanted him to become more than him because he had a gift most people don't have and should use that gift.
