Linear games shouldn't be long as fucc
Hell your avatar has some of the longest linear games in history. I suppose MGS3 and 5 are fairly "open" though relatively speaking.
Assassins Creed Odyssey.
Ok I'm towards the end....but I'm partially thinking "wrap this up"
Idk if it's because I've done about 100 hrs straight of this series, or if it's because the missions aren't varied and are starting to drag a little bit.
Or the fact the games punish you for wanting to stick to the story and not doing side quests to level up.
I've done a bunch of side quests just because I was intrigued but it feels like the game forces you to level grind. There has been at least 3x in the game so far where I couldn't progress because I didn't level up enough before, and that's with doing a plethora of side missions
The last of us Part 2 .
There were a few times where i thought the game ended.
Great experience all the way .
