Spagnola: No Witten In NYG, Not Until Tampa

He said he heard that Mickey said Witten was a no go for tomorrow and that he shouldn't be expected to play until the Tampa game.

Witten is losing his damn mind. :damn:

How badly does Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten want to play against the New York Giants in the NFL season opener on Wednesday night?

Witten has informed the team he is willing to sign a medical waiver that would not hold the Cowboys or team doctors liable in case he re-injured his lacerated spleen during the NFC East matchup, according to team sources.

Signing a waiver is something he has persistently proposed since he suffered the injury, however, the team will not accept any waiver as a path to Witten playing in the game, the sources said.

Source : Witten test results give Week 2 clearance. Week 2, not necessarily tonite. So #Cowboys inhouse debate goes on. @1053thefan

Ogletree stepped up and handled business and finally played up to the potential that he showed when he was first on the team. Them 3rd receivers are eating well with Romo.
