I seriously doubt if the people who say it on here are actually black or around black people on the regular. I'm seeing it more than in years gone by, but seeing a black woman with a white dude is like seeing a unicorn. I've seen far more black men with white women than black women with white men. These dudes are either incels or white chaos agents.

Probably a mix of both. Their aims are the same in any case.

you notice how these dudes be using the term "nikka nerd"? Another breh, I forgot who it was, brought up a very interesting fact earlier this week: That that term ain't nothing that black people say. Either this is white folks coming up with this stuff or some whitewashed negroes.

I've only seen that on here and it does sound like something someone non-black would say. Funny though, for whatever reason I associate that term with Tariq. I feel like he coined that.

What else do you call a black man who gets angry or upset because an organization is making a sizable investment in black women? During women's history month mind you.

Question: are Claudia Jordan, Vivica Fox, Lisa Raye, and Selena Johnson femcels?

As 2015, black men's median income was 15% higher than that of black women.

FT-16-06-30-wage-Gaps-overall-Bar.png

As of 2018, the incarceration rate for black men was around 2.3%. That 2.3%, even if they made nothing, is not going to pull the the black male median down over 15%. Just stop, breh. Why are you nikkas trying to paint us as damsels in distress, more in need of help than women and children?

Now look at this chart:

A) Notice how it’s not split by age, industry, full or part-time status - it’s just everybody thrown in.
Just those designations alone would change those figures.

B) It doesn’t count self-employed workers.

C) It doesn’t count people who work off the books, because they aren’t on the books.

D) ...even with all that, Black men and women are still right there in the same spot.
So be that as it may - it doesn’t strike you as odd that there are copious resources
to help Black women, and virtually none for Black men?

E) BTW, it’s the same story for Hispanic folks...but ain’t nobody giving Hispanic women
hella money like this. Why is that?

Fair question about full vs part time workers. I found another study that only looked at full time workers from 2010, and there was still a 14% gap in black men's favor.

Black workers have made no progress in closing earnings gaps with white men since 2000

I'm not sure what the importance of segmenting by age would be.

As far as different industries, in law, medicine and tech, black men earn significantly more than black women. I doubt there are any industries where black women outearn black men. Not to say that black men are doing great, but we arent doing worse than black women economically, which was my point.

Differences in incomes of physicians in the United States by race and sex: observational study

A black woman in tech makes $79,000 for every $100,000 a white man makes

As far as the self employed, I bet a similar gap exists as with regular workers. Look at the BE 100. 95% of the most successful black businesses are run by black men.

As for why more resources are earmarked for women than specifically for men, obviously because women are poorer and more vulnerable than men, in general.

If those stats are true, then were are all of these 'successful black women' coming from that can't find decent black men because none earn on their level? Are successful black men just super sellouts that date outside of their race as soon as they get a little money?

Over the past few decades, black women in America have made historic strides academically and professionally. According to the Journal of Blacks in Higher Education, at least 60 percent of black students who get awarded college degrees are women. Black women make up 71 percent of black graduate students.

How are black men making significantly more than black women despite black women being significantly more educated? Why is there no push to close the education gap?

Those charts are old. As of 2020, black men and women in the workforce both earn 97 cents to a dollar of a white man. The gap is because people want to marry someone of a similar status and that goes beyond income. Black women’s education levels far exceeds black men and that’s why you have what you have. Regardless, most black women date brothers.

I think part of the issue is that high income ($100K+) bw are almost always degreed professionals, whereas a much larger percentage of bm at that income level make their money in lower prestige, male dominated fields like trades, IT certs, truck driving, etc, so they are often not on the radar of "successful black women".

Higher education does not always translate into a great income, especially for black people, and even moreso for black women. And anyway, women earn significantly more degrees than men in every race, and yet men in every race make more money.

Above the fray.
Politicians don’t cater to men anymore
There are multiple reasons for this, but yes catering to men is a thing of the past.

Lot of men don't expect politicians to publicly pander to them. Economics speaks to men. And depending on their occupation, they either have their union , an industry group, or a political lobby advocating for the interests of their industry.
