I look at a group like The Sopranos against, say the Barksdales from The Wire. Imagine a clown like Christopher and old ass Paulie going against Slim Charles and Weebay. :mjlol: If the playing field was level the mafia would get fukked up by any black organised crime group - New Jack City hinted at that. We'd see how all that 'moolanyan' talk would work out for them.

Ghost Dog is my all time favourite movie and that is probably the only flick that shows how washed up those clowns really are.
Frank Matthews already punked those Guineans. :wow: But you have these Guinean dikksuckers on the Coli who ride their nuts and say "no way Frank Matthews did that they whacked em!"

And yea NJC did in fact hint at that lol. And interesting comparison between Sopranos and the Wire. And gotta check out Ghost Dog.

Anyways there's a reason the Italians were kicked out of the drug game. Hell ALONE Freeway Rick Ross in net worth SURPASSED many Italian bosses. None of them seeing Rickey or ever will.

@DaRealness Oh..... Then there's this. :ohlawd:
"It was a racial thing -- John mouthed off to a big black guy," the Daily News quoted one official as saying. "The next day, the black clocked him. He beat him up pretty bad, his face was all bloody. He needed some kind of medical help."

The extent of Gotti's injuries was not known but the Mafia boss was taken to the prison infirmary for treatment after the incident in the facility's indoor recreation area.

I never understood black people obsessing over the mafia. It's like damn, the same people you name yourself after have got all these cute little racial epithets they call you. Jay-Z and others mentioned that fool in their songs only for him to be :mjpls: when they all are. nikkas should have got the message from the first Godfather movie that these people ain't you friends and never will be.

Black folks being organised is their worse nightmare, but you know how it goes with a lot of our people.

I don't know if Lord Jamar would act in it now, but even that episode he was in with Treach in the Sopranos when he was like "Tony Soprano? You the original G" :gladbron: and Tony was like :unimpressed: "whatever".

It's also ironic that in nearly every mafia movie and show they're always playing black music.

But yeah check out Ghost Dog: Way of the Samurai.

Yea the bolded ALWAYS caught my attention. But most these mafia movies overhype the mafia and make Blacks look VERY dumb.

As for mafia obsession there are those on this site that will cape to death for the mafia. lol.

Did Elijah Muhammad really use Bumpy Johnson's daughter as a mole used to report to him whatever Malcolm was doing?

Got me wondering if Adam Clayton Powell was really as crooked as they depicted.

I know Harlem loved him!

Breh has been playing Malcolm X type characters since he was a kid.
He was on Sister Sister, and he played Shakim on The Parent 'Hood.

Even then, he had Malcolm's look down pat.

Lol how does that become an actors niche :heh:

Giancarlo Esposito is killing it as Adam Clayton Powell. I can get past the complexion like I did with Denzel Washington playing Malcolm X.
Esposito is light enough and besides he has the nose.

Dude is a G.O.A.T., it was hard for me to get past Denzel playing Malcolm they just look nothing alike. Denzel gives a strong performance dude is a great orator but it didn’t feel like Malcolm to me.

I don’t like all the race mixing on this show :scust: Bumpy has that white woman side chick, the Italian’s daughter is dating the black guitar player, Rev Powell is sticking anything that walks, they’re slowing down the pace . You didn’t see all this iR shyt on Boardwalk Empire.
It was common back then especially among musicians, actors and actresses, athletes, and underworld figures.

This is touched on in Malcolm X autobiography and Malcolm himself had many white women when he was Detroit Red...

Can’t be mad at reality :manny:
