There is no god, don't even feel like getting into this discussion, just want my position known....

The Old Testament imagined a three-part universe, with heaven (shamayim) above, earth (eres) in the middle, and the underworld (sheol) below, surrounded by the original "waters of chaos", the cosmic ocean, separated by God when he created the world. Only after the 4th century BCE was this replaced by a Greek scientific cosmology of a spherical earth surrounded by multiple concentric heavens.
The biblical earth was a flat disc floating on water. The concept was apparently very similar to that depicted in a Babylonian world-map from about 600 BCE: in the centre are cities and rivers and other features from real geography; these are contained in a single circular continent bounded by a circular sea, with seven equally spaced triangles beyond. The triangles are called nagu, "distant regions", but can also be interpreted as islands or mountains. The Old Testament also locates islands alongside the earth-disk (Psalm 97:1); they are the "ends of the earth" (Isaiah 41:5), the "foundations" which support the vault of heaven (Psalm 18:7). Pillars or foundations prevent the earth-disk from sinking into the sub-earth waters of Chaos.
This tablet contains both a cuneiform inscription and a unique map of the Mesopotamian world. Babylon is shown in the centre (the rectangle in the top half of the circle), and Assyria, Elam and other places are also named. The central area is ringed by a circular waterway labelled 'Salt-Sea'. The outer rim of the sea is surrounded by what were probably originally eight regions, each indicated by a triangle, labelled 'Region' or 'Island', and marked with the distance in between. The cuneiform text describes these regions, and it seems that strange and mythical beasts as well as great heroes lived there, although the text is far from complete.
The regions are shown as triangles since that was how it was visualized that they first would look when approached by water.
The map is sometimes taken as a serious example of ancient geography, but although the places are shown in their approximately correct positions, the real purpose of the map is to explain the Babylonian view of the mythological world.
No I'm a Muslim Quranist but obviously muslims differ in what they believe slightly when compared to Christians and Jews. We hold the injeel to be true but altered and misinterpreted. There's one God and we don't ascribe human attributes to him.
Yes how convenient that God isn't like a human...is that all?how convenient.

Well according to the story god didnt destroy lucifer because he didnt want other angels to have doubt or serve him out of fear. so he chose to show the angels that his way is the best way. if this is true , god cares how others think about him , self conscious , i believe self conscious is a human attribute .
also in this act , it shows a sign of selfishness . why put so many humans in pain just to prove a point that should be obvious if he is indeed god , creator of all. ( yes there are family's that endured pain and suffering with out doing an act to deserve it , since the word accountable has been thrown out there , example the elementary shooting) .
im sure there many attributes that god shares with humans.
fucc boy
If you don't have spiritual eyes, you're open to deception and confusion.
Continue defending this flawed temporary earth instead of Heaven brehs.
More o this whiney bullshyt about God making people suffer? People make each other suffer... we are well past the point where everyone can eat... everyone on this earth can be clothed and fed... don't gimme that bs
No according to the story Ibliss didn't bow down to man
Try again u fukking crab
i like how you responded + edited you response and still didnt recognize the main point , god having human attributes .
yeah if you were really paying attention to the edit.. you'd see I left out the answer to the first part of your response then added ..nice try.i like how you responded + edited you response and still didnt recognize the main point , god having human attributes .
who cares what they believed if its wrong?Goddamn your reading comprehension is absolutely retarded. No wonder you like Nicki Minaj.
You really haven't read the text or understand what I'm saying. If you want to take Genesis LITERALLY, this is the Cosmology.......

If you take Genesis LITERALLY then you must accept this view to interpret it. This is what the authors and every other Ancient Near Eastern civilization believed for 4,000 years.
Yet god acts with human emotions? No I'm a Muslim Quranist but obviously muslims differ in what they believe slightly when compared to Christians and Jews. We hold the injeel to be true but altered and misinterpreted. There's one God and we don't ascribe human attributes to him.

It's not about being self conscious it's about the freedom to choose... which ibliss also possessed. Thought you would understand that.
