I liked Horizon better than Zelda. I platinumed horizon. Got bored of Zelda about 75% through.

One of the GOAT stories in gaming. Vs. No story at all.

The combat was way better. Far more options.

The world was better.

Enemies were better/more original

It looked much better.

Characters were better and more developed.

If someome likes Zelda better though thats all good.

Well im one of the biggest Zelda fans I know and BOTW was boring to me.(not saying its wack) So it wouldnt be hard for me to prefer another good game over it.

BOTW wasn't that good. It just got all that hype because it's a Zelda title.

this isn't really the case. Nintendo has a lot of interesting characters and IPs, but the 2 that drive the company are Zelda and Mario and they can all vary. I never played it, but people have critically shytted on skyward sword even tho I read some people saying it had an amazing story. I think from what I remember, that game was the reason they finally answered the call people wanted out of a Zelda game and gave them that extremely open feel. And I had no idea until I started posting on forums that people shytted on Sunshine that much even tho i considered it the best 3D mario out.

And it seems that's exactly the same thing that's happening with GOW since someone from a different thread posted a vid of someone saying that the game suffered from being in a period of time where gaming was taking a new leap, so the devs came back with the swift and created an amazing game getting amazing reviews.

I don't understand why people use the "because it's a ***** title" why it was considered a great game.
