Man if you not using that stonewall sheild you losing. You can tank yellow circle attacks and then just counter with double tap L1 and get a parry effect once your shield red hot.

Dope! Looks like I got some grinding to do because I’m at the point now where I want to experiment with different builds.Someone suggested this armor set early on in this thread and it got me through almost the whole game on No Mercy until I got the dragon scale set.
There's a blue set of armor you get early on that's really good for the entire game too.
That’s the same one I use too. I wanted to switch to other shields, but I’m not much of a risk taker and feel this shield worlds the best especially for the blue and yellow attacks.Yup, I actually made it harder on myself because I used the parry shield ( I'm a fighting game fan and love parries) but I recognized instantly I could have really just shielded up and got away with murder lol.
Damn, Debra Wilson voices Gryla, the giant in Ironwood
she was the woman on MadTV
she also voices Kit on Ratchet and Clank: rift apart.
She's got serious range, cuz they dont sound remotely alike
Only shields I i used were the Dauntless and Fayes OG shield. I noticed I was able to parry A LOT better with the OG. The enemies in this game rarely get staggered and can actually combo the crap out of you while you're stuck in an animation sitting there likeMan if you not using that blocking sheild you losing. You can tank yellow circle attacks and then just counter with double tap L1 and get a parry effect once your shield red hot.
It's in there you have to delay after your first swing but it does seem to be harder this time around. I just didn't use it.

shatter shield was the best for me, i could stop those instant kill bifrost attacks easier
Yea its harder to pull off and the arc is wider this time around, so a fast enough draugr will slip right through it and punish the fukk out you like a hateful for example. Draugr lords and travelers not even fazed by that shyt. If you have realm shift armor or relics though you can pull it off for big damage
he didnt burst out into rage enough to remind me of hadesOdin reminds me of Hades from Disney's Hercules
On everything fukk this fight. Why is a random ass rift this hard?? Lmao
