What does sold through mean exactly? I’m guessing that number includes bundles as well.

That means with just two games God of War Ragnarok and GoW 2018 have already sold at least 34 million copies, almost as many copies as 343 sold 7 halo games over 10 years

This isn’t quite a victory lap for Microsoft though, as Sony's heavy hitters Spider-Man Miles Morales, MLB: The Show, and Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart are all likely sitting comfortably ahead with sales of 6.5 million, two million, and one million sales respectively as of July.
It's worth noting that for a new IP and at a price of $70/£70, Returnal has certainly done well for Sony.

Sea of theives has performed better than FH commercially.
Right now, today, 5 years after release, Sea of theives is sitting higher on the steam sales charts than any Sony game Including those just released like TLOU1 and Forespoken game AND Forza Horizon.
SOT is a quiet juggernaut. One of the most successful new IPS in recent memory even if it doesn’t fit the bill you’d expect
