God of War 4 vs Horizon Zero Dawn

Two of the top 10 games this gen on ps4.

I’m definitely enjoying the combat more on God of War but as an open world sandbox game Horizon Zero Dawn was damn near perfect. I enjoyed Horizons story more as well.

I still have not completed God of War so I won’t be voting until I’m finished. But I’m leaning towards Horizon right now.

Combat was pretty stale to me, and once I realized most of the enemies the same way and the story didn't grab me at all I was over it. It was almost like a spin off farcry for me.

Horizon for me. I haven't beat GOW yet but I can tell you it's not better than HZD. HZD and Witcher 3 are the two best games this gen., period. Only games I can see that might challenge them is LOU2, red dead 2 and perhaps some other game we haven't heard of yet.
