That is true that this board is probably overall left on economic issues but you can say the same for conservative voters as well. This has been known many times during the Obama administration that conservative voters would like left wing policies like Obamacare(although it's not left wing) if it didn't come from a Democrat president.
What that tells me is that conservative voters just have a huge preference for socially conservative policy. I believe that's the same with this forum. While they may support left wing economics, if the GOP wasn't so racist, there would definitely be a majority of people here who vote conservative because that is more important to them than economically left policies.
Just look at how much the LGBTQ was brought up in this thread.
What's funny, too, is how the Left historically championed working class man's rights via wages, unions, worker's comp, healthcare, etc. far more than the Right.
Trickle down economics has zero benefits for men other than the shallow feeling of "pulling up your bootstraps." But, besides that, it's been proven to be a failed experiment time and time again. Just look at how "well" it worked in Mississippi, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Louisiana.
Also, Right Wing ideology is generally anti-Black as well. Black men can think we have a seat at the table but that's generally not the case. There's a reason why the DEI shyt has been causing triggered RIght Wingers to outright say that Black men shouldn't fly planes.
The Coli is so obsessed with the LGBTQ stuff that it's perplexing. Very little of that shyt has impact on everyday man's lives on the same level as the economy, foreign policy, healthcare, wages, civil rights, etc.
Like that Black preacher who went viral said, most of ya'll don't have the same energy for the zesty choir directors that have been leading and directing whole choirs for years at traditional Black churches so why concern troll over the "gay agenda" now. Because Fox News and Right Wing media keep running a billion stories about a couple of cases of gays/trans doing shytty things or isolated incidents in schools? Mind you...this is the same Right Wing media that exaggerated how "crime ridden" cities are to make Black people the face of criminality.
There's a reason why White women vote GOP at a much higher rate than Black men. The Right prioritizes Whiteness far more than it does male solidarity.
