Looks trash no lie and Denzel should never act without an American accent but this movie is set in Rome, a whole millennia or 2 before Amerikkka existed, so him having to change accents is sort of a given.

Also, this gonna be another one of Mr Scotts atmospheric movies, with not much feeling or emotion, have low expectation brehs

Cautiously optimistic about this. Hopeful mainly because of the cast really. Paul Mescal is that guy and very capable of putting on a great performance. But ‘The Last Duel’ was the last good thing Ridley put out to me, from top to bottom. Everything else as of late has been mediocre to downright bad. I’m glad bro handed the Alien keys over.

Stfu. We have to endure every character having an English accent no matter the location whether it's period films or fantasy, game of thrones, lord of the rings etc.

Wasn't Russell a Spaniard in the original but I didn't detect a Spanish accent from him. For him it's ok I guess.

If you want the film in English then the folks who made the language are going to get the go ahead for these roles
