That's what happens when you have parents ignorantly pushing the 'get your "education" by any means possible' narrative, thinking that no matter how big the loan, you'll be alright because 'it will help you get a nice job'. Little do they know that when you have a loan that massive, over the long period, you will be paying a monstrous sum in interest. Cats are going into debt slavery over it all. The fact that you can't really go bankrupt on these loans in most cases says a lot.

I'm not trying to make light of the student loan situation, it's totally screwed up...
...but why did she decide to have kids knowing that she acquired a six-figure loan she may have trouble paying off?
Without the kids, she would've struggled for a minute but long term may have been ok. With the kids though?
