exactly that shyt only gonna get worse for him :umad: team up and stack the deck and take L's? They ain't gonna respect that.
Not to mention the media is already looking for the next MJ not the next Lebron. Lebron gonna be Shaq status when he retires.

The players of today are faster, stronger, are better athletes, shooters and have higher skills than the vast majority of 90s players, the science and nutrition aspect is better, just based on that aspect alone i dont see the argument
Jokic and Luka says hi

The Bulls grinded to the top, they got closer and closer in the late 80s then broke through in 1991. MJ lost to the Pistons 3 years in a row but kept getting better, no quitting, no teaming up with other superstars.

Where is the mythology?
Yeah and what people gloss over about the Bulls losing to the Celtics and Pistons is that Boston had 5 Hall of Fame players (Bird, McHale, Parrish, Dennis Johnson and Bill Walton) and the Pistons had 4 Hall of Fame players and a Hall of Fame coach (Thomas, Rodman, Dumars, Adrian Dantley and Chuck Daly). Jordan was literally by himself until the Bulls drafted Pippen and Grant and even then it took a couple of years for those guys to get up to snuff.

This isn't the argument, at all.

The game and talent has evolved through every era (yes, that includes during MJ's time), but what makes MJ's situation unique is:
What if MJ had a non competitive mindset like Lebron and decided to team up with Barkley and Hakeem in order to stack the deck. Isn’t that better than luck?

Skill + preparation = Luck :hubie:
The post you quoted flew right over your head.
Is it even possible to prop up MJ? What is there to come up with?

You worrying about the wrong things on a message board
It hasn't stopped you from literally posting nothing else but defending whatever image you have of him that you've created in your own mind. I'm betting you weren't even at an appropriate age to properly digest what you were watching (in real time) when MJ was playing, yet ironically, you seem to cast stones at those who weren't.

You're not really interested in having any objective discourse around anything, is what I'm trying to get at. You don't like hoops. That's pretty evident.

Do you think Lebron is the goat?
