that's all the thread starter knows, that nikka's brain is consumed by 90s NBA, everyday it's a new thread on the same subjectYall need to stop w/these NBA plumber talk threads and enjoy the US Open
MJ the only player I seen where his detractors argue that the game and talent pool evolves for every era/generation except his own. every decade the players and talent got better but suddenly stopped at the time when he was winning and then started back up again after he retired.mj definitely had great timing as far as his career
that period of dominance was dry outside the bulls
mj ain't have consistent wreck in comparison to now where the talent pool is overflowing worldwide

im Pretty sure 99% hitters in todays game would take the pitchers Ruth faced with a heavier bat vs todays pitchers lolAnd there's tons of videos with dudes trying to swing Babe Ruth's bat, and saying it's too heavy.
Its actually the opposite with football. Earlier eras gets more props for their accomplishments due to the league being soft and watered down now a days. Can someone explain why basketball is the only sport where you get these dumbass hot takes trying diminish what players from previous eras accomplished?
You never hear people trying to shyt on what Jim Brown or Hank Aaron did.
The problem with that is with Wilt, he openly admitted to chasing stats, like the time he led the NBA in assists because he was told he couldn’t. Plus for all his high scoring early in his career, Jordan still has a higher scoring average, and won 6 titles to Wilt’s 2 (which is why some don’t place Wilt as high on the list). Also, when you look at Jordan’s high scoring seasons, they’re not so unreachable like Wilt’s 50ppg average. James Harden just led the NBA in scoring about 7-8 years ago relying on shooting a lot of 3s and FTs. Jordan scored in a wider variety of ways than Harden and did it more efficiently.the wilt chamberlainization of MJ is beginning
lol ya'll love saying this as if people haven't been trying to poke holes in Bron's game and diminish his career the whole time. What are they going to say in 20 years that isn't being said right now??Y’all are in for a rude awakening 20 years from now better hope you know who’s legacy holds up
exactly that shyt only gonna get worse for him team up and stack the deck and take L's? They ain't gonna respect that.lol ya'll love saying this as if people haven't been trying to poke holes in Bron's game and diminish his career the whole time. What are they going to say in 20 years that isn't being said right now??
Means nothing without the IQ. If you were to drop Ricky Davis off in the 1970s era, is he a HOFer?The players of today are faster, stronger, are better athletes, shooters and have higher skills than the vast majority of 90s players, the science and nutrition aspect is better, just based on that aspect alone i dont see the argument
