Does RZA even make beats anymore? What was his last beat?

But there's a million good producers putting in work who aren't gonna charge major fees....guys like Camoflage Monk or Conducta Williams would be a nice fit.

He could work with legends like Madlib or Alchemist....someone mentioned Knxwledge which I think is a dope fit. Muggs....Nottz....Roc Marci....hit up Salaami Remi, his EP with Black Thought was fire. Hit up them Backwoodz Studioz producers.

In many ways the whole Roc Marci/Griselda/Backwoodz movement comes from Ghost (and DOOM) so Ghost should be thriving right now but his taste fell off. I don't even think it's a budget issues. There's beats on Youtube and Soundcloud that are of a higher quality than this.

RZA put out not one but TWO solo albums last year, he’s still actively working and recording and producing. Before that he gave Nas two beats for Lost Tapes 2. He also produced original music for the Wu-Tang Hulu series.

And like you said there’s a billion producers he can work with that would give him a dope sound that don’t necessarily have to be A-list. Hell he was working with Big Ghost just a few years ago

Not at this point for Ghost. It would be a waste with how washed he sounds.

I want Madlib working with artists in their prime.

Agree to disagree. :ehh:

There's a few artists who aren't in their prime who he's worked with and it's sounded dope.

Pusha T on Palmolive supposedly ended up with them planning to do an album together, and Pusha was arguably best known for his work from 01-06 and in the early '10's.

Slick Rick's prime was in the 80's and he got busy on Auditorium in '09.

Even 'The Healer' with Erykah, I'd say was outside her prime, but that's one of my all time favourite songs by her.

I definitely think he could get a fire album out of Ghost

all about inspiration. Imagine Ghost in the studio with Remy Ma and whoever produced this. Nothing good was gonna come from this.

Ghost and madlib would bring the fire back.

Nah, Ghost is done. He should just tour and forget about new music. Madlib would carry that album.

You're prob right but maybe the right producer could bring it out of him. Won't be Madlib though. I'm a huge Madlib fan but Ghost needs somebody in the studio with him, not someone who will just give him 100 beats and never be seen again lol. Somebody to keep vibes going, suggest flows, get his direction on drum breaks, etc. Muggs comes to mind. At one point I thought Kanye would be perfect but that's no longer the case. Even Westside Gunn could be interesting in that role.
