Ghost sounds hungry but this beat ain't it
Thats how I feel. His energy is there but I don't like the beat. It's too "spaced out" and "sparse" for him to really go in.

Another Ghost & Adrian Younge album might be good, too.Ghost and madlib for an entire album would make me levitate
You're prob right but maybe the right producer could bring it out of him. Won't be Madlib though. I'm a huge Madlib fan but Ghost needs somebody in the studio with him, not someone who will just give him 100 beats and never be seen again lol. Somebody to keep vibes going, suggest flows, get his direction on drum breaks, etc. Muggs comes to mind. At one point I thought Kanye would be perfect but that's no longer the case. Even Westside Gunn could be interesting in that role.
100%. Soursoul was the name of the album he did with BADBADNOTGOOD. I think he'll kill it with Madlib bringing in Yesterdays new quintet style joints.Imagine a Ghost and Alc album
Ghost sounds fire over shyt that he should be spitting over.
That album he brought out with GoodGoodnotbad or whatever the fukk theyre called ... that album was a classic to me.
He needs soulful/jazzy production
Yea it really makes no sense. They would flourish over all those Griselda affiliate producers. That’s an entire genre itself. All those producers working with Elcamino, The Musalini, Planet Asia, etc, it’s right there for the takingHow the Wu isn't getting top tier production is beyond me. There's so many Wu stans, including big name producers, that would probably give these dudes beats for free or at least heavy discounts. You really think Alchemist wouldn't drop everything if Ghost asked for an album? Meth, Rae, Ghost, Deck should be swimming in dope beats.
