I think you guys are being way too harsh on this. It's not Supreme Clientele, more like half Big Doe Rehab half Wizard of Poetry. It definitely drops off hard right at the end, but up through track 13 I really have no objections and Ghost sounds terrific on the mic to me. Even Ja sounds great on here.

I dunno maybe I'm just a stanley (for GFK I 100% am, I'll admit it) but I haven't felt a lot of his projects since 2010 and I can tell you I'll be bumping this one a good deal and enjoying it

EDIT: Running this back again and hearing GFK and Meth go back and forth like that over a grimy horn sample has literally restored my soul. I feel 14 again

I agree with you.

I'm not trying to hate, I love Wu, even named my first born Masta Killa, but this is :scusthov:

There's a couple of good points.. Meth and ghost especially. The bullshyt beats I kinda expected but Ghost's voice... Is it over? :mjcry:
Your kid is named Masta Killa?
How old?
Any pushback from other parents of their kids playing with Masta Killa?

I’m getting a little tired of this “it was a warm up for another album” talk. Like to
Me your only as good as your last project and if you release some mid or garbage then why would I be looking forward to your NEXT project?

Ghost used to have one of the best ears for beats of any legend, even some of those throwaway or compilation projects he was dropping in the mid 2000’s to get off Def Jam had some excellent songs. This album starts out good and then kind of falls off a cliff after the Kanye joint. Not going to lie I expected more from a Ghostface album put out on Mass Appeal with all star features from Nas, Kanye and Meth. Funny though the songs with those features are the best songs from the album.

Ghost needs to hook up with at LEAST a B-tier producer and knock out an album.

I mean that possibly could be a warm up considering the title

@Billy Ocean. We all know Ghostface is one of your favorites. And we all know you quarantined yourself in your one room shack for a week now every since Ruger pulled your card and showed video footage that he came to your building for the fade that you ducked that ran you off the coli, so we know you had plenty of time to listen to the album because you are stuck in your apartment. What do you think of the album? Can't have a Ghostface new album thread without your input.

Oh you didn't hear?

The classic thread is in the rafters at the top.

@Billy Ocean got exposed and ran of The Coli. You know how he was always selling wolf tickets and giving out his address to fight people who he had disagreements with? Well @LastSecondRuger bought every wolf ticket Billy was selling and made a video in front of Billys building and told him to come outside. Billy started juelzing talking about "But but but but I'm not home right now but I'll be home at 8pm" By 11PM Ruger told him to bring his ass outside and Billy hasn't been on the Coli since Billy just disappeared and never returned.

:mjlol:

Check the rafters, the thread is right there at the top.

I'm only bringing the situation up because Billy's input on Ghostface albums is tradition and he's been MIA for a week now so hopefully Ghostfaces new release will have him pop back up. ( I doubt it though :lolbron: )

production very mid and project doesnt feel cohesive or united. beats not horrible not great...just solid. sound like the album was made on the cheap.

Listened to it twice now. Pair of Hammers, Skate Odyssey, Scar Tissue and No Face are tracks I like a lot. Just wish that cornball Ye didn't drop that trash verse on No Face because the beat and energy on there's exactly what I want from Ghost at this stage.

Probably will stop listening after track 13 from here on :mjlol:

I love R&B Ghost, was just listening to Wizard of Poetry a couple weeks back. With that style though you need singers that can sing and beats with some soul, the synthetic stuff don't cut it
