Honestly I gave up on him a while ago. He hasn't been himself since Ghostdeini, and that was 10 years ago. He just hasn't found a way to make that transition that goes with a changing voice and a slower pace, like Prodigy did in his later years. Or Rae, who arguably sounds better these days than he ever has.
He still has one of if not the most impressive catalogs in rap music, just not after 09/10.
This.
His rap verses catalog is impeccable in terms of both lyrics and delivery . Just not lately.
Suprisingly raekwon style aged exceptionally well. While he has never been wack he prob top 2 in wu right now.

Can't really judge him by these little side projects he's been doing lately. I'll try to gauge where Ghost is as an MC after I hear this joint. His last legitimate solo put together by him was Wizard of Poetry from 2009 and he was great on there.

How about Apollo Kids in 2010? Really liked that one. Purified Thoughts with Killah Priest is a top 10 Ghost track to me.

36 Seasons was also an amazing album.

I would agree with you had i not been to the Gods of Rap tour last month and saw Ghost on stage..compared to a few years back when you could tell he had some issues with his health and breath control, dude was active, jumping around and spitting with a renewed energy..he outshined everybody on that stage.I would have loved to see him and Meth get down but he was not present for those dates

Damn, I hope it's good. GFK could do no wrong for many albums in a row IMO, but now I am not a fan of a lot of the recent album beats.

the tri-state
ghost track record is impeccable considering he stays puttin out material

he might be the rapper with the MOST CLASSIC albums

718
put it on the line
fishscale
12 reasons
12 reasons 2

add that to ironman, supreme clientel, pretty toney, big doe rehab, fishscale and more fish

then albums like wu-massacre, bulletproof wallets, ghostdeini, sour soul and 36 seasons are GREAT

and then he got GOOD albums like apollo kids, lost tapes and wu block

also his discographies BLEED into each other which im a huge fan of

bulletproof wallets - pretty toney - 718
- put it on the line - fishscale, more fish, big doe rehab

they play like a continuous album.
