Can't really judge him by these little side projects he's been doing lately. I'll try to gauge where Ghost is as an MC after I hear this joint. His last legitimate solo put together by him was Wizard of Poetry from 2009 and he was great on there.

Honestly I gave up on him a while ago. He hasn't been himself since Ghostdeini, and that was 10 years ago. He just hasn't found a way to make that transition that goes with a changing voice and a slower pace, like Prodigy did in his later years. Or Rae, who arguably sounds better these days than he ever has.
He still has one of if not the most impressive catalogs in rap music, just not after 09/10.

He's released lots of songs and verses I've liked over the last 10 years, but everything has been a concept album or side project so we weren't getting traditional Ghost material for the most part.

He has a pretty good track record, don't count him out.

Should be his first album completely under his direction in a long time. We've been getting little side projects under the guise of a solo album for damn near a decade.

I don't understand what you trying to say.

I still have a problem with some cats saying the God fell off. Those side projects, all of em solid btw, shouldn't be used to determine where Ghost is at as an MC nowadays imo.
