He's released lots of songs and verses I've liked over the last 10 years, but everything has been a concept album or side project so we weren't getting traditional Ghost material for the most part.

He has a pretty good track record, don't count him out.

I still have a problem with some cats saying the God fell off. Those side projects, all of em solid btw, shouldn't be used to determine where Ghost is at as an MC nowadays imo.

Why shouldn’t we use new material to determine here he’s at as an MC ? Since when do we hold an artist to these ridiculous standards? If it was Jay or Nas dudes would be singing a totally different tune. For whatever reason, dudes love to cape for Ghost. So we shouldn’t judge the Nasir album since it was a “side project” and not the album Nas was originally working on for the past 6 years ? Ghostface fell off, plain and simple. It happens..doesn’t mean he ain’t a legend.

In the 20 years I've been listening to Hip Hop outside of SC and Ironman I've never listened to a lot of Ghost, and I dont really know why.

I need to start digging through that discography because I know how dope he is.
