My curiosity gets the best of me sometimes. Somewhere between 97-00 I was going to do this with Queensbridge. I don't know anyone personally from there, I've never been there so I wanted to know what the vibe was like for myself.

Half the city's population doesn't drive, so to a lot of people other boroughs really are a different universe. Bronx and Brooklyn are only about 10 miles from each other but with public transportation that's a 1 hour commute - and the city's so congested it's alreayd a while driving anyway...but even something like Queens to Brooklyn is twice as long with a train/bus as it is just driving. There's a lot of folks in Brooklyn and Queens that have legit never stepped foot in the Bronx and vice versa.

To add to this as an example: It's faster to get to Yankee stadium from all the way in Rockland County (30 mile drive) than it is to take the train from Brooklyn.
