The two biggest issues i had with tsushima was the open world and the enemy AI in stealth.

i hope they really emphasize how they are improving that.

You can only do so much with stealth ai to keep the game fun. Rise of Ronins ai with stealth was probably worse

There’s definitely more they can do though. Like eventually have the enemies simply look up for starters. Shouldn’t be that easy to game the AI when MGSV came out two generations ago and did it much better

i want the stealth to feel rewarding and clever

There’s definitely more they can do though. Like eventually have the enemies simply look up for starters. Shouldn’t be that easy to game the AI when MGSV came out two generations ago and did it much better

i want the stealth to feel rewarding and clever

For whatever reason these samurai games have had super basic stealth ai, Sekiro, Tsushima, Ronin.

"This guy i work with just got murdered, I'll look around for 10 seconds, don't see anyone, OK, back to my post" but then you also have to keep the game fun

To be completely honest thats most stealth games in general.

At this point it’s Metal Gear and TLOU2 that go above and beyond with enemy AI. Tsushima is supposed to be a real stealth game though so I want them to up that aspect of it. If asassins creed shadows ends up being better in that regard they’ve failed.

I’ll count my losses with what we got. fukk around, complain too much, and we end up with enemies having “Alien: Isolation” style xenomorph logic; hunting us down like animals and shyt.

I don’t even use stealth in Ghosts unless it’s the only way a mission can be completed. Multiplayer included.

How to GAWD they improved the AI. I will give it a try but, breh....

I don’t really give a shyt about stealth in games. I actively avoid games that make that a core gameplay element. I’m jumping off my horse and shredding Mongols, big and small. They all get the blade.

Hopping off the horse and asking for that smoke is a top 10 gameplay mechanic :hubie:
