Same Death Stranding had actually too much going on after a few chapters.Death Stranding had user provided content that drastically changed your traversal and they lay out of the land. Signs bridges vehicles shelters roads underground hide outs charging stations Holo grams hints etc. User defined paths based on where players walked most often was the coolest.
As well as Different terrain, weather etc that all made going from point a to b challenging.
Not to mention different vehicle types (vans, ATVs, bikes etc) methods of traversal (ziplines, ladders, ropes bridges hover boards etc) along with different exoskeletons for different on foot options.
Death Stranding almost had too much stuff in the open world at times and is nothing like this game.
I can feel this game melting my ps4 pro already
Yea this shyt gives off a ridiculously strong AC vibe...Everybody whining bout Assassins Creed not going to Japan gotta cut it out now. If I didn't know the title of this I'd have thought this was the next one. The mount system is the same, the gathering system is the same, the stealth system is the same, you even got birds leading you to stuff too
That said it's a day one for me
Combat is straight up jacked from AC Black Flags...Looks too easy. Everything was a 1 hit kill damn near in the combat.
@Mowgli is this Elite Gaming material?
We have this phrase that we use to describe the combat in the game: Mud, Blood and Steel.
We wanted it to feel really really grounded and lethally precise. If you've ever seen a samurai movie you know what it's like. These men cut each other down with a single stroke of their sword and to capture that samurai movie, fight is very different than a lot of other games because it means you can die very quickly and your enemies can too. And that took us a while to get right but we are very pleased with the results and we think it shows up well on the screen.
