Countries where a majority of people can't even find a glass of cold water, government corruption is rampant, education system in the bushes, already have no respect on the world stage, and no interest from tourists. So what is their priority? Let's take away human rights and make Ghana an even shyttier place to live, where sexual activity is regulated and monitored. White Jesus will smile upon Ghana and give us glory!

Just backwards and sad.

Because boy who wants to see Ghana become more like the United States? That would be awful!

The dumbest hill to die on when you're already a nation associated with poverty, hunger, and a terrible quality of living. Becoming oppressive Christian nationalist states is not the answer for Africa but we don't even want to win. So stuck on religious nonsense we can't even progress.

Why is fakkitry and trannyism so important to Americans?
Why don't these same American companies apply any pressure to Saudi Arabia and China instead of trying to make examples of black African countries? Yet some of you c00ns support this racist shyt.
NVIDIA market cap $2.4 trillion

Ghana GDP $75 billion

:mjlol:

Trust we aren’t pressed about what you are doing at all. Somebody in the state department probably saw on the news you’re murdering gays and said “what business do we have in Ghana? Get that shyt out of there”:camby:

Just keep your asses there when this blows up in your faces and don’t bring your barbarism here.

Dudes really think this dumb shyt is some act of courage and bravery, and not an act of insecure cowardice that will do nothing but reinforce Africa as a place of misery. It takes more courage for a nation to accept progress and change than to use oppression and violence to stay stuck in an archaic past that feels safe to you.

Dude's talking about let's not bring that American culture here, as if Ghana is some utopia to be envied by others. Talking about China and Saudi Arabia as if Ghana isn't a country that sold itself out a long time ago to the very Western powers that it now want's to defiantly stand up to. Except instead of finally taking a stand over something impactful that can improve Ghana's economy, people, and position on the world stage, let's fight over keeping Ghanaians from catching the gay, and ruin our relationship with other countries over it. How brave. And I'm suppose to be mad that other countries with far more power and influence don't care to cooperate with this in order to do business in Ghana? Coli dudes think they're the ones hurting?

Just backwards nonsense man. I pray for the day African nations stop letting themselves be played and distracted by Christian nationalism and truly become a modern and respected society and economy. But as long as we still stuck on stupid shyt like this it won't be happening anytime soon.

Yep. It was colonial missionaries that brought anti-homosexuality and homophobia to Africa. Would love to see who is funding this sudden surge in anti-gay legislation.

Never mind found it

But, despite condemnation from the White House, one prominent US lobbying group has faced persistent accusations of spreading anti-LGBTQ sentiment in several African countries. For months, CNN has investigated whether the Arizona-based organization Family Watch International, and its founder Sharon Slater, have helped promote a raft of homophobic bills in Uganda, Kenya and Ghana. The group has repeatedly denied these allegations.

Family Watch International (FWI) is a fundamentalist Christian lobbying organization. Founded in 1999, the organization opposes homosexuality, legal abortion, birth control, comprehensive sex education, and other things that it regards as threats to the divinely ordained "natural family."[3] It has a strong presence in Africa, where it promotes conservative policy and attitudes about sexuality through its United Nations(UN) consultative status.[4]

Because they are powerful in their own right so the US can’t impose its will on those nations. :manny:

Very poor rhetoric.

Just because Africans did something before colonialism, like gay sex, doesn’t make gay sex inherently good.

Many pro-alphabet arguments are poorly made. Yours is on par with them saying “it exists within nature!” as if mantis females don’t eat the heads of the males after mating, which is perfectly natural but not inherently good. Or how female spiders eat their young to survive. It exists in nature but that doesn’t necessarily make it good.

Similarly you could be right that Africans practiced homosexuality before colonial missionaries. How does that make those homosexual inherently good?

You’re sorta correct but we sanctioned China so bad recently Xi had to fly to San Francisco recently to beg Biden to stop

The differences is sanctions on China cause some social pangs and belt tightening. If we sanctioned Ghana they would collapse completely.

Saudi Arabia itself has been slowly liberalizing. Women can drive now :troll:
