It's the one true solution for the long-run
It would take a solid year for the average person to get used to the lifestyle i think ...but once thats done :manny:

if one could lock down a job offer and move its worth a try
A lot of people moving to any african country, especially the first wave will have to be business oriented people who can develop africa’s private sector.

The employment sector in many african countries isn’t to the level it is in the US or Canada.

Ghanian brehs/brehettes, say more on the change in lifestyle one could expect by moving from the US to Ghana. Someone already mentioned the blackouts (which I've experienced), so that's a con. But can you mitigate that with a personal generator? Obviously there are less white people- that's a plus (maybe even the whole point)... What about quality of education, night life, sports, entertainment...? What's life like?

One of the things I noticed while on vacation there was negotiating for every single good/service. I'm sure I got straight robbed out there :russ:, but I consider it a gift.:yeshrug: Obviously, if I lived there, I wouldn't want to make a habit of losing negotiations.

Anyway, yeah. Speak on the change of lifestyles please.

Brehs... GHANA. IS NOT. fukkING. AROUND. :damn:

Nana Obokese Ampah, the CEO of a Year of Return Legacy Project and the Asebu Pan African Village Project underscored the urgent need for a full-fledged Pan African Higher Institute of learning where students are guided to their fullest potentials minus any form of manipulation.

The founder of the Obokese University of Excellence said, “During these uncertain times of Covid-19, it is crucial, now more than ever, that we create legacies of educational institutions to move beyond the crisis, embrace substance, elevate our people, and prepare for the future success of society.

“Hereby, the creation of Obokese University, created in Ghana, as a part of the Year of Return Legacy, is a call to encourage all African descendants throughout the diaspora to come together to build the homeland,” he said.

He added, “President Nana Akufo-Addo created the ‘Year of Return’, an unprecedented initiative last year, and this is part of his vision for ‘Beyond the Year of Return’, hence the creation of this noble higher learning educational institute.”

Obokese University of Excellence will begin operations on September 21, 2020, with course in e-Commerce, Leadership and Education, Engaging Culture, History, Technology, and Tourism.

It will initially be an online digital platform with among others, master classes; tours and event experiences as well as web-based learning/development offerings. As it grows, the university will roll out its formal course offerings.

The Obokese University will include among others, the following platforms: An Afrocentric focused entrepreneurial, educational, cultural and historical institution.

It will also include leadership Masterclasses and certifications including; business, political science, African history, business/entrepreneurship etc.

Obokese University of Excellence launched as part of ‘Year of Return’ legacy

Something I've been thinking, please need feedback, as these are just thoughts.

But as a Sierra Leonean i was shocked how shiit weve become at agriculture. I really feel like there's opportunities for Black farmers and Agriculturalist from the Diaspora.

With all these projects there's opportunities for Mechanical Engineers, Architectures, Tech Industries.

Tourism, instead of buying that House over here. Buy property turn into small resort, B&B.

Nature Tourism is another one.

People shut out the Marijuana industry. Some countries want to get involve. Do the research.

I'm gonna try and provide as much info as I can.

There is so much opportunity and farming is a major one. Ive bought land in Uganda and im in the middle of a project there but why stop there with farming?

Ive always had the dream of buying up loads of land in Uganda for cattle and crops and distributing across the country, but then taking it all over the continent if you have the right people. I was meant to go sierre leone this year, my boy from school is from there, spoke with him and his dad about this and they are in. You could then do the same with property and depending on the country buying cars from japan, shipping and reselling over there can be very profitable, it was making big money in Uganda till a couple years ago Museveni put duty you have to pay up and killed profits.

Selling car parts aswell is very profitable, sometimes good quality spare parts for alot of vehicles are hard to find in Africa and expensive for most locals to source.

We been waiting for this:blessed:

I don't get this waiting thing. Since Ghanaian independence and African independence around the continent, there was NOTHIGN stopping any black person from anywhere around the world from moving to any African country.

Many African American and Caribbean people have been moving to African countries for decades now. They learned the language and blended in as much as they could. Were there people waiting for a bulletin board?

This man moving his kids and grandkids from the states. There's no bulletin board saying do this...
