Sometimes you have to employ relatives , if you got cousins for example out of work and you are hiring strangers down the line it will cause you problems , always try and put them in positions where they cant control money or cause financial damage.

The problem with hiring family is this ,there are hardly any consequences for them if they fukk up or steal from you , whereas with a stranger you can get them arrested

This is what happened to breh with a farm in Ghana in a nutshell :francis:

If you really wanted to start easy, US Virgin Islands could be a possibility since it is under the US umbrella of laws, investment, etc.

I looked at the Caribbean too and the big thing that is hard to get around is that stuff isn't cheap, especially land. Often you can't invest in some land anyway unless you are super rich or a local citizen. Everything is imported and labor costs are high which is why service sector dominates the region. But I may be biased since I like to "make stuff", despite there being a lot of opportunities in the Caribbean for light manufacturing, start up costs and competition are more steep than West Africa.
I looked at Jamaica for example and their land cost were so inflated.

I hear you.

So... in order to do this right, random ados would need to 1. Move there full time 2. Bring enough money to buy land, protection, pay off whoever to handle paperwork, ancestral claims on land, etc, indefinitely 3. Be ready to invest capital you could lose at a whim.

:patrice: Hm. Most ados arent even prepared to invest in the developed country we already live in, where we already speak the language, and understand local law and customs.

Im forced to conclude that it's disingenuous and damn near reckless to present this as any kind of mass solution at this time.
I've been watching this thread to see if this would really workout for us, but from what I've seen this shyt is one big scam.

Then you got mufuggas on here talking about don't capitalize on Africa, but everyone capitalizes on us. THIS IS COMPLETE BULLSHYT AND ANOTHER WAY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF INSECURE ADOS/FBA

I don’t know what you mean when you say Africans came to do capitalism not to get involved in AA struggles.
They don't. Africans (for the most part) come here, get their bag and send money to their home country. If they aren't doing that, they start up their own little communities away from us (ADOS).

With that being said, ADOS that move to Africa should do the same. Why should we have to assimilate and involve ourselves in the struggles of the people there when we have our problems and people here?

It's easy, just do what youv'e been doing and die happy in America. Alot of you spend so much energy trying to find something wrong with someone elses solution when all you have to do is move on with your life as it is. Let epopel who have moved there do what they want, and you do what you want.

I know people like some of ya'll. Anything you decide to do they will find everythign wrong with it. Those people I would hire to do quality control to find everything wrong with a product I designed and I improve on it. Other than that I would keep my distance, because no other progress is made paying attention to consistently nay saying negative people.

Africa doesn't need you. Die happy in America and don't comment on Africa

My question to you is where did I say you need to. You are inferring something I haven’t said in order to get on a soapbox, I don’t care that AA don’t want to assimilate to the rest of the African population, I don’t need AA to be sympathetic to African people, neither group is in a position to look down on the other. I was simply speaking of the economic opportunities that Black Americans can take advantage of given that nonblack people are doing the same so why can’t y’all?

Again it’s not by force. Stay where you are if you have no interest or it isn’t for you. Simple.

Well... you're right on this, Africa does not need me... They apparently need China, though.

:francis:
All countries need to other countries for growth. America needs other countries to continue to expand their markets, we live in a globalize world. A large percentage of products consumed in America are consumed elsewhere and a bulk of American multinationals money come from overseas.

so that comment you made makes no sense. American citizens need China as well given they manufacture everything and many could Americans would not be able to afford American manufactured made products to survive.

You have made your position clear, I wish you success where you are.

I agree, but don't tell us about some lighthearted capitalizing shyt (I don't even know if that's possible)

Don't try to tell us to not do what the white/chinese are doing when they're letting them do it. We get told this and they don't?

:umad: weak attempt, but you tried

Funny the Chinese has more sense than you in regards to Africa. Worry about the land of the 'free'

damn, y'all really trying to justify China building infrastructure in Africa instead of the African people doing it themselves, this is a sad morning, I tell ya.
