1st Round Playoff Exits
An article about black people resettling in Ghana and you still worried about cacs :dahell:?
:stopitslime: you can either focus on everything I said or deflect and continue to play dumb.

I'm from a small island in the Caribbean and there are unprecedented number of people of non "afro" Caribbean descent who wish they could resettle there permanently. So we gon act there haven't been areas that were predominantly black throughout major cities for several decades, just get gentrified by within a couple decades.

And xenophobia is a real phenomenon too down the line, despite sharing the same melanin as someone else.

African Americans resetlling in Ghana would destroy the pure black Ghanaian gene pool, an ancient untouched black genetic legacy, (AAs are almost 1/4th non-black, sometimes more) and burden them with social ills (i.e. colorism) before the people have properly developed in their own people. African Americans are not even genetically Ghanaian so what they are returning to is anyone's guess. African Americans already destroyed Liberia; yall should just settle there instead of colonizing another African country and people. AAs are too far gone to return to Africa. And if AAs go, cacs are sure to follow (if only b/ AAs and cacs share cultures).

What is the pure Ghanaian gene pool? Lool, Fanti people mixed with Dutch/British settlers, hence why so many Fanti people have British/Dutch second names and some have lighter skin.

For real though, you people don't know anything about Ghana. The level of ignorance on the Coli is incredible. I think because you guys never stop posting, you never look from the outside in, I posted 1 thread to get hair advice, told myself I would never log in again but the amount of ignorance, I had to say something.

I have seen Y chromosome studies on Ghanaian populations. As a group they are not intermixed with anything but black surrounding populations (so West Africans). Study doesn't detect any countrywide white British DNA distribution or prevalence in Ghanaian populations which connotes that white admixture is virtually non-existent within the population at large. Ghanaian are almost genetically indistinguishable from Nigerians; if admixture were common throughout the population, Ghanaian would diverge from Nigerians as admixed populations do. These facts are as generally true in Ghana as Japan. The latter protect their purity and legacy fiercely. Let us help black people do the same, lest we come to a day where there are no pure blacks left on the planet. The Native Americans are already at that juncture and their race is destroyed.

Yup. Cacs have basically colonized black settlements all over the world and already parts of South Africa. They can and will do the same to Ghana.

Link to the study please, because generally if you're from Ghana, its accepted that Fanti people allied more with Brits and the Dutch when they arrived in Ghana. I'd be surprised if its only their names the Fanti people took, and if they didn't mix at all.

Take your African American ass to Ghana to "resettle" on land that the locals work hard all their lives for and have dreams of one day buying (only to watch it go to some Americans) and think youll be welcomed with open arms, brehs. No thanks :stopitslime:

Detroit Ex-Pat and Activist Killed in Ghana
Mamelena Diop (born Jeannette Salters), who was part of a movement of Detroit residents who wanted to reclaim their ancestral roots, was found dead along with her sister, Nzinga Janna.

Mamelena Diop, born Jeannette Salters, was a Detroit activist in the 1970s who eventually moved to Ghana as part of her exploration of her roots.

The Detroit Free Press is reporting that she was killed in that West African country. Her body, along with that of her sister, Nzinga Janna, was found last week near their home.

It is believed that the double killings may have been the result of an argument over land. :dahell:

Diop, 75, who was active in black nationalist and feminist movements, helped lead the Detroit chapter of the National Black Feminist Organization, the Free Press notes.

Her activism ultimately prompted her to uncover her West African heritage, and she eventually moved to Ghana and changed her name as part of a movement by Detroit residents who went about reclaiming their roots, according to the news site.

"I feel terrible about what happened," Greg Salters, her son, said. "It's a tragedy. Words can't even explain how I feel about my mom being taken away from her home, murdered and put in a shallow grave 300 feet from her home." :snoop:

Salters, who is also from Detroit, believes that individuals who wanted the land that his mother legally obtained from the Ghanaian government murdered the two sisters.

"Some locals decided they wanted to take the land from them," he said. He said his mother took the issue to court and won. "I guess the locals decided they were going to take matters into their own hands," the son said. "And they decided to abduct and murder them."

Two men have been arrested in connection with the deaths, the Free Press reports.

According to her son, Diop, who was a dual citizen of the U.S. and Ghana, frequently traveled back and forth between Detroit and Ghana.

During her last visit to the U.S. two years ago, she was in Detroit to attend a relative's funeral.

Diop's daughter Cheryl Salters said, "She loved Africa. The people were nice." :stopitslime:

Did you really just typed this bullshyt. :what:

It's true.
Link to the study please, because generally if you're from Ghana, its accepted that Fanti people allied more with Brits and the Dutch when they arrived in Ghana. I'd be surprised if its only their names the Fanti people took, and if they didn't mix at all.

This is one study:

BMC Genet. 2005 Jun 24;6:38.
Genetic structure in four West African population groups.
BACKGROUND:

"Within the context of the Africa America Diabetes Mellitus (AADM) Study (a genetic epidemiologic study of type 2 diabetes mellitus in West Africa), we have investigated population structure or stratification in four ethnic groups in two countries (Akan and Gaa-Adangbe from Ghana, Yoruba and Igbo from Nigeria) using data from 372 autosomal microsatellite loci typed in 493 unrelated persons (986 chromosomes)."

CONCLUSION:
There was little evidence for significant population substructure in the four major West African ethnic groups represented in the AADM study sample. Ethnicity apparently did not introduce differential allele frequencies that may affect analysis and interpretation of linkage and association studies. These findings, although not entirely surprising given the geographical proximity of these groups, provide important insights into the genetic relationships between the ethnic groups studied and confirm previous results that showed close genetic relationship between most studied West African groups

^
Mixed groups like Brazilians and AAs have substantial population substructure since admixture introduces different alleles, frequencies and linkages. Ghanaians show high relation to their neighbours--so much so that ethnicity input does not seem to change allele frequency--which implies that Ghanaians are not admixed and as black as anyone else. Now this finding is not to say there are no admixed tribes in Ghana like the Fanti, but rather that the admixture is perhaps confined to a very small percentage of the population (1% - 2%, similr to Europe), with the rest of people being pure black.

That all aside, I have an interest in Africa and would love to go as well as encourage people to go. After all, cacs will go regardless of what the black disapora does and their deleterious anti-black influence might be worse for Ghana than the alternative. So I am in a bind. I want to fiercely protect the people of Africa--even if they do not wish it--but I do not know how to best do it..
