I don't really gamble, but I'm not gonna waste my time with ban bets and avi bets in shyt.

I rather just say my guy will win and talk shyt afterwards, but If its a bet, then I can only entertain money.

they want to gamble with real money :dame:.gambling leads to damnation :dame:

Han: Very few people can be totally ruthless. It isn't easy; it takes more strength than you might believe.
Roper: Now you've got eight more.
Han: So! There is a point you will not go beyond.

Indeed

but, Canelo ain't moving his head like that constantly throughout the fight. The nikka ain't Joe Frazier :mjlol:
I wouldn't suggest throwing the same type of jabs over and over at him either.

You gotta time him with those heavy hard jabs. nikkas do it once or twice at the wrong moment and get countered and just drop it altogether.

Me personally, whenever I had a nikka doing that head movement shyt in front of me, I'd start feinting with the jab and then throw straight crosses to the body and then pivot out of there.

Canelo got good upper body movement, so if someone were to jab heavy while circling close, they could crowd him and take advantage of his tree trunk legs. Lara made that work for a while, but instead of taking chances with power shots when he had him ready for it (middle rds) he got spooked with the body shots and gave ground. Pretty much gave up on a working strategy.
Lara is much more athletic than Canelo. Canelo not getting outboxed by a nikka as slow as lil g and unathletic as lil g:yeshrug:

thats because they cant. or they wont because they are tentative.

they are tentative because he has very good head movement.

he can make you miss and he can come over your jab with a counter right hand in the same motion too.

throwing a good hard and heavy jab is a very dangerous thing to do whenever when you see a guy doing this in front of you. thats why they dont.
If they was smart they would jab to the body... Ala Floyd.

When was the last time we seen GGG jab to the body? Or even move his head in that manner?

Canelo can slip and counter.. He can also walk you down and hits hard... Harder than brook.

I think Brook is a better overall boxer than Canelo even though i dont think he will beat Canelo either

Which is why I say Canelo can beat GGG.. Especially once he gets comfortable fighting at MW and JMW.

All canelo has to do is move his head and sometimes feet, get inside, and hit him with hard enough counters and withstand the pressure. Canelo is not featherfisted. He's quicker than GGG, slicker than GGG, and packs a lot of power. His biggest issues would be stamina and if he could handle the power and size... But that goes away with the more time you spend at the weightclass moving up.

I don't know if he'll KO GGG but if he doesn't gas out, he could beat him in distance. He won't embarrass him but he will win. It would be a good fight but I agree with Canelo in taking his time to mature into that weight class...

Same as Ward. I didn't want him moving to LHW and even though he had ring rust, he had tuneup fights against some stronger LHW. Kovalev is a beast of a dude but Ward is a smart boxer... Probably the smartest boxer in boxing right now. Its also going to be a great fight.

But Ward would've embarrassed GGG

I only bet on fights. I only Gamble on fights and if I know enough about the boxers I usually win.

Ward vs. Kovalev is tough but I got Ward.

I had GGG winning against Brook but only because of the circumstances. If Brook had had many successful fights at MW i couldve assesd it better.

Ward vs. GGG is easy money

Canelo vs. GGG is going to depend on how he does his next fight or so. But after the weekend I'm picking Canelo

Golovkin-Brook Did 843K Live Viewers; 833K For ‘Chocolatito’ Fight

By Keith Idec

The Gennady Golovkin-Kell Brook fight Saturday turned out to be more competitive and entertaining than many skeptics expected.

Those that did tune in to watch it live – an average of 843,000 viewers, according to Nielsen Media Research – were treated to a back-and-forth battle Golovkin won by fifth-round technical knockout at O2 Arena in London. The live rating was lower than most Golovkin bouts because it aired live at earlier times than usual in the United States (about 6 p.m. ET and 3 p.m. PT).

The rebroadcast, however, drew an additional average of 593,000 viewers following HBO’s live coverage of another highly entertaining encounter between super flyweight star Roman “Chocolatito” Gonzalez and Mexico’s Carlos Cuadras. The re-broadcast rating doesn’t differentiate between new viewers and repeat viewers, so it is difficult to determine how close the combined number (1.43 million viewers) is to ratings Golovkin usually produces for his live HBO fights in prime time.

Gonzalez (46-0, 38 KOs) earned a hard-fought, unanimous-decision victory over Cuadras (35-1-1, 28 KOs) by scores of 117-111, 116-112 and 115-113 at The Forum in Inglewood, California. Nicaragua’s Gonzalez also won the WBC 115-pound championship in a 12-rounder that amounted to one of the best action fights of 2016. An average of 833,000 viewers watched the Gonzalez-Cuadras slugfest.

Kazakhstan’s Golovkin (36-0, 33 KOs) survived some competitive moments against the previously unbeaten Brook (36-1, 25 KOs) to stop the British star in the fifth round. Brook’s trainer, Brendan Ingle, stepped in to stop the bout because Brook was taking punishment from the hard-hitting Golovkin and wasn’t throwing back powerful punches.

It was later reported by multiple media outlets that Brook suffered a fractured eye socket against Golovkin, who retained his IBF, WBC and WBA “super” middleweight championships.

I was going to ask you about that. Mid day ratings on HBO seem to naturally be lower than a live airing prime time spot.
Wlad-Fury did 1.038 million live (replay later did 600k) and Wlad-Pulev did 620k, whereas an American soil fight done at primetime Wlad-Jennings did 1.637 million.

For the time slot GGG did okay, but disappointing compared to if he had been in the US in prime time live. Seems like fighting in the UK financially can be good for GGG, but bad for HBO.

Little Chocolatito did pretty well in his first headlining fight. He was on the lower end of what the bigger name fighters typically draw. Add in little guys rarely headline and I know there was some nervousness giving him his own card...it seemed to do okay.

Will be curious to see what the UK thought of the fight. In an interview leading up to the fight Hearn said he was expecting about 500k buys, in the range of what Klitschko-Fury did. Joshua usually does 400k +. Said Quigg-Frampton sold poorly.
