As a Black woman, I do not say these types of things to my SO at *any* time. Men are extremely sensitive to the people they care about and I wouldn't want to hurt him if he's down or going through a rough time. Words can wound very deeply and I think it's extremely important to be kind. My friends (Black women) are like this too. None of us belittle or talk crazy to our SOs. As a matter of fact, we don't talk crazy to others period. Life is hard. Being nice to other people is one of the most effective ways to get through life. I wouldn't want to go through life being ugly to people. That's not a good way to live. If I love you and ALL WE HAVE IS A TENT, I'm not going to stop loving you. Mutual love, respect, support AND effective mature conflict resolution are the keys to a good healthy relationship. Since you and your wife have built a life together, it's GOOD that you're staying together.

And this is the shyt it comes down to. Don't be a jerk to people you care about. If they have a dream don't belittle it. Try to be understanding and supportive. Hopefully they will be. They should be vice versa.

Full time studying for the LSAT? Not the Bar, not the bar that allows you to practice law in various states. Not the bar that actually confers upon you the title of barrister. We talking about the LSAT. The LSAT that most folks study for during their junior/senior year of college. LSAT. An entrance exam, LSAT. What we talking about? LSAT? Law School Admission Test. LSAT?!?

Not the bar. We talking about the LSAT. Offered 4 times a year. She likely isnt taking it in October, so she's going to take it in December. Which means, she's aiming to apply for 2016 admittance. 2016. After which she has 3 years of law school, and maybe she gets a job to pay back that $150K loan tab. THEN SHE HAS TO TAKE TIME OFF TO STUDY FOR THE BAR. but we aint talking about the bar, we talking about the LSAT. Full time studying for the LSAT? The LSAT. nikka WHAT WE TALKIN ABOUT?? LSAT?!?

Are you trying to say that the LSAT isn't important? Your LSAT score can determine your law career. Its a 5 hour difficult exam where only about 3% of LSAT takers score highly on it (170-180). Why do you think those LSAT tutor courses are so expensive ($1500-$3000) just for a couple of weeks of tutoring?

Wife is horrible at communication during times of conflict which definitely could of ended our marriage.....I do think this a problem with majority of black women.
I call it compulsive outspoken behavior = someone that response is reactionary without further thought or logic and is done based off in the moment tension and anger.

But you haven't dated the majority of black women so how would you know that?

I was saying that it was ridiculous to quit ya job to study full time for the LSAT, especially with all those months of lead time. Every college classmate that went to law school, studied for the LSAT while a full time student or employee. And these are folks that went to top tier law schools.

Imagine ya child quitting high school to study full time for the SAT.
