Marriage is not fun. It's work. Says so in every single thing you will ever read or hear about it.

Still: silly people get married and when they get bored they wanna leave. Don't ever bother getting married if you are looking for fun. Marriage is for long term goals like a strong foundation for your kids. Your fun time is over.

My birdbrained ex was like that. "I'm not excited anymore". I was not excited with your p*ssy after 365 days, so what?

It's is impossible for a human to get excited about a roller coaster they ride each day for years. It's just brain chemistry. Get your mind right.

Lastly, this is why the world is so sick cause the one and only goal anyone has is entertaining themselves.

New girl looks like a poor mans version of the old girl.

Breh please advise the new girl what got the old girl in the bushes so she doesn't make the same mistake.

I bet old girl is still :dwillhuh:

B b b bbuuuttttt all I said was......:to:

Lol I've never thought of any woman being a "poor man's" version physically of any other woman I've dated. I have a type and I gravitate physically to that type. Personality-wise they are two completely different individuals which is REALLY what I was looking for, she's actually divorced as well and when we first met we had a long conversation about both of our ex-relationships, what worked, what didn't, what our mindsets were towards future relationships and what we both wanted to build. After that conversation and both of us putting both of our expectations front and center (like TRUE ADULTS) we've been kicking it ever since. Every day we attempt to learn something about the other, we conversate frequently and share genuine similar interests.

Last week I was coming off a 65 hour work week, no days off, on Friday night when I got off and went to her place she'd already cooked my favorite food and brought tickets for Ant-Man (which is mentioned I really wanted to see) she straight up told me "you are the hardest working man I've ever known and you NEVER complain, I just wanted to do something to appreciate you".

shyt had me like:blessed::wow::takedat::gladbron:

I forgave her. The relationship is over and final. Divorce was finalized as of the end of June.

I am happy and actually in a pretty stable new relationship, things at the job are going extremely well I am now the Specialty Sales Manager, in charge of 4 departments and roughly 40% of the Store's revenue.

The decision was the best for me, and ultimately the best for both of us, we don't really speak often at all but I wish her all the best

Congrats :salute:

I hope your not one of those managers who butter up to customers and make them come to your cashier's lines and raise hell and agree with them with that "customer is always right " nonsense  :birdman:

If not then :salute: to you

In all seriousness hopefully your situation with her helped her in terms of her being more careful in her future relationships. Not just walking on egg shells simply because she doesn't wanna get divorced 2 times since it may be a bad look for her as a woman but hopefully to learn to always support your partner. To look primarily at ambition before "riches".

Lol no I take care of the customers, hell half of my shift is taking care of customers who other stores had fukked them over. Had a customer thank me and write corporate a letter about me earlier this month simply "for giving a fukk" lol.

Slight update for those who are still interested.

Took my first vacation in 4 years last week. We went on a cruise shyt was FANTASTIC. Man for only $500 that was the best vacation I've ever done, my first cruise but DEFINITELY won't be the last we had a blast.

Breh I'm actually looking to go on a cruise right NOW just got some leave approved but it's last minute so it'll have to be next month.

But I can't decide which cruise line or destinations to go to. If you don't mind me asking what cruise ship and ports did you visit? :lupe: I was about to book a Carnival cruise out of Tampa to Cayman Islands and Cozumel, Mexico but the reviews had me scared people were talking about the ship being old.

I did Carnival Fascination we did stops at Nassau and Free Port.

- Nassau wasn't worth it in my opinion. The Island is poor and dirty. The tour we went on was actually kind of depressing, our Guide was telling us that it's 80% black and 20% White. Blacks have all political power and whites have all economic power. When I asked him how it was possible that the blacks were the majority and had political power but not economic he told me that the Whites owned the economy for hundreds of years and never gave it up. He then ended by saying "but the Whites hire All the blacks so everything's Great!" Which kind of pissed me off. Every two seconds someone is going to try to sell you something (tourism is pretty much THE economy there) and the beach was nothing special. He took us to the "upper class" portion of the island, which is gated off and showed the mansions that Michael Jordan and Oprah own there.

-Free Port was MUCH better. Cleaner overall, the beach was beautiful, and the marketplace didn't have that "desperate" attitude

-The Cruise ship itself was great! Keep in mind this is my first cruise ever and my first vacation in 4 years so I was pretty geeked but I enjoyed it immensely. They had mini golf, Casino, Jacuzzi's, water slides, nightly Comedy shows and all of your food is included (you only have to pay for Sodas or Liquor) our rooms were small, but very comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful and everybody got along

Carnival is a good "starter" cruise line, choose ports you'd be interested in visiting, even if you have to pay a bit more. My first cruise I went to Ochos Rios and the Cayman Islands. It was a Carnival cruise ship out of Miami, nice ship until you see the other cruise lines. The the Cayman Islands is worth a visit, and people that have been to Cozumel have said its nice, I might go on a cruise there next year so if you choose that one let me know your opinion.
