I'm definitely not advocating these things for people guilty of rape or things like 1st degree murder
But there's definitely an issue in this country where the prison system just adds to the problems within these men and women, and lets them back out into a world that they don't fully understand or are capable to function in.
The Prison Industrial Complex in this country takes people who have committed crimes, puts them into a system that destroys their minds even further, and then tosses you out into a world that probably won't give you a job or allow you to join their educational institutions after you been incarcerated.
That's not right. There's gotta be a better way.

Prisons are also supposed to punish, not put you up in a college dorm room on the taxpayers dime.
The fact that the country has a low rate of recidivism probably goes hand in hand with the fact that the country has a low rate of crime in the first place.
so it sure sounds like you're saying you would rather have so called JUSTICE then a SAFER society. correct? remember i'm saying for arguments sake. statistically speaking the cute prison turns criminals into legit non criminals(thieves stop stealing, d-dealers stop dealing dope, rapist stop raping) vs the US prisons turning 1 time little thieves into bank robbers and when they let out rapist they rape again.
again based on what you just said. JUSTICE is more important to you then a SAFER society. and that SAFER society would put your previously raped daughter in a safer place so she never has to experience being raped again. but you would rather have JUSTICE and have that same rape victim possibly become a victim of another rape in such an unsafe society. CORRECT?
see i think our idea of JUSTICE is flawed. i think we think JUSTICE = REVENGE. when thats not the case. JUSTICE means you get what you deserve. so in your mind you think, if man A molest Child B. he should get molested in Jail for the next 10 years. that would be JUSTICE.
what you dont realize is MAn A is a molester because he was molested all throughout his childhood. a vampire bites you and makes you a vampire. society treats you like a vampire and wants no parts of you. so every time you get out, you go bite someone else if for nothing else to say "EFF SOCIETY, they didnt have my back when i was a kid being molested and they dont care to get me the proper help now that i have this itch i must scratch when it comes to touching kids.. so EFF SOCIETY."
Whats Justice for a drug dealer, that grew up with a drug addicted mother that could never hold down a job and its him and his 2 siblings. the bills have to get paid some how.

Well, you are making a lot of assumptions. The current US legal system is too lenient.
The justice system lets out rapist and child molesters because lawyers are pushing for a second chance when in reality, they are letting out a monster to do his thing again. It's my opinion that they should be hanged.
You are making the assumption that all drug dealers grew up in the hood and were raised by a drug addict mother. Truth is, there are a lot of drug dealers who did not grow up in the hood nor did they get raised by a drug addict mother. They are in it for the quick/easy money. Whether it's a street level dealer, the transporter/mule, the kingpin, they just turn to a life of crime when they had a choice.
