They do the same sh*t with the producer J Dilla.. He was dope but he used to get dissed by artists all the time. I was in a loop a bit back in the day and A level and B level artists was throwing his beat cd's in the trash and not giving him hardly any placements on albums. Now its crazy to hear all these mentions, songs, and mixtape tributes dedicated to him every so often. He used to get sh*tted on a lot before he got sick and passed
J Dilla is the most overrated producer ever. He only sounds good when on that RZA shyt

one of the dudes that supposedly shot Malcolm X is alive and well in Jersey:martin::mjcry:

Malcolm X’s assassin living in plain sight in Newark: author

all too common in our communities breh:manny::to:
:dahell::mindblown:

"He was jailed from 1977 to 1980 on conspiracy charges, officials said. Shabazz returned to prison in 1984 after being indicted on charges that included threatening to kill an East Orange cop, raping a woman and drug dealing." Cops killed innocent men like Mike Brown and Eric Garner but didn't kill this guy?!!
:pacspit: that dude and the asian dude that got away

You nikkas love overrating dead rappers. Big L was a "b" level rapper before the internet backpackers decided to dikkride him posthumously. He wasn't much different than any mid tier punchline NY rapper in the mid 90's. No disrespect to L but you internet nikkas are ridiculous with the revisionist history.
This is bullshyt. If you were in the know then you knew L was super nice back then. And this is coming from somebody who had Lifestylez on cassette before he owned a computer :russ:

Big L will probably be even bigger in 200 years if the earth is still around.

Yes if it didn't then Pharaohs wouldn't of spent years building the biggest pyramids so they too would be remembered long after their deaths. It's also the reason a lot of people want children, it is human nature to want to leave a legacy and live on long after we die.

:rudy: Come on now... L's my dude but... come on now...

in 200 years, anyone who was alive when Big L was out will be long gone.

Our generation barely knows about Jackie Wilson or Nat King Cole, but people in 2216 are gonna be Big L fans? :mjlol:

This thread went from people finally getting closure from Big L's murder to "karma isn't real" & "Big L is overrated" :dwillhuh:

This J dilla slander. Duke was ill and super nice stop the bullshyt. And Big L was nice on the mic as well. To the point Jay-z was signing him to rocafella records. I know people go over board but these two cats were great at what they did.

:snoop: at the J Dilla slander in this thread. And L bodied Hov something vicious on that legendary 9 minute freestyle on the Bobbito show

i understand you like the rapper more than the anonymous thug, but if he was riding on a mission to do something dirty, he actually is not a victim :yeshrug:
the way i heard it is that he got caught up in his older brothers mess, hig big bro was locked up so they took it out on L instead.

that kinda shyt is grimey no matter how you look at it

Problem is these guys weren't around. So they assume that because they heard about them after they died that this is what made em popular.

Y'all wasn't there... stop with the slander for real. I was bumpin Slum V and was tryin to big up Dilla long before he died. He dies then everyone is a fan; I'll admit that (just like anyone else who dies) – but to those that knew already know whats up.

:russ: at Big L being mid-tier. Y'all just ain't old enough to know what the fukk y'all talkin about. This shyt reservered for us :flabbynsick: brothers
