Big Lee is Lamont Coleman's (BigL) middle older brother, and he was the Big homie on 139th and Lennox and some other Ave's all called the Danger zone I believe. He and his boys had a crew , that technically L was a part of called the Nfl crew. The crew eventually fell apart because of internal beef, which either started or ended when
NFL member Gerard Woodley and his man Reggie White killed Big L's
cousin. At the time Big Lee, and L's oldest brother were both in prison. L's other cousins.. Apparently were some thorough dudes and took care of Reggie shortly after. Two versions of the killing motive are the following:
Woodley was scared that a hit was put out by L and or his family in the streets, so he caught L in front of his building.
The other dramatic Version involves Big Lee and a plan him and cousins came up with to set up Woodley. There were all supposed to meet up, Woodley and L's fam, and I guess negotiate. Apparently a chain was supposed to placed on Woodley's neck and then the shooter was supposed to take him out. This story says that Big L decided to join the operation unbeknownst to Big Lee. L was the one that placed the chain on, but the hit went wrong and Woodley got away. In turn Woodley catches L in front of his building.
One thing thats for sure is when Big Lee got out, he immediately went in detective mode, which lead to his demise as well, allegedly set up by Woodley.
