yep. it has def changed the way hip hop is viewed and delivered. doesnt bother me since some of my all time favorites are from there. i rep all coasts :yeshrug:
Same here. I guess when you're a fan of good music it doesn't bother you. But I do think Aquemini is a top 10 rap album of all time.
Was gonna come in here and say Outkast alone reshaped hip hip. Dude's could actually be more diverse in their songs in terms of subject matter.

And musically. nikkas in rap was not using funk and live instrumentation with spoken word like outkast... But black music dates before 1980's and Georgia has ALWAYS played an important role.

But the birth of music in America is New Orleans.

I thought the OP was talking about impact. Why are people bringing up who they think is better than any rapper from GA?

Mobb and Nas >>> Kast, Goodie Mob and all the :trash:from ATL

Nas is my favorite rapper and Mobb Deep is one of my favorite groups, but nah. Kast, Goodie Mob, T.I., Ludacris, and several other rappers from Georgia can't be downplayed. Even Nas or Mobb Deep would do that. They even asked Nas in an interview what his favorite OutKast song was and his response was "all of them". He's talked about how Cee-Lo is one of the most creative artists ever. Mobb Deep's Amerikaz Nightmare had a Lil' Jon production and featured DTP's I-20.
