Yea. The Twilight books only sold 25 million copies too before the the first movie came out. It obviously became a huge franchise.

"Twilight" main draw is teen girls, the most profitable demographic on the planet. Of course they went to see that shyt.

There is people that read the books that don't give a fukk about the show. So by extension they wouldn't go see the movie.

i dont know brehs...all those 'newer' trilogies yall are talking about have main characters that people can follow and root for...GOT doesnt really have that...Martin kills off everybody...i could be wrong...but i dont see it....

guess we'll have to wait and see tho

The show is an hour long, ten hrs or so per season...the books are fukking 1200 pgs, i aint got time for that
