Geno even in a small sample size is an indictment on the Jets for not showing any interest in offensive football.

It was a horrible combo of coaches (Rex and Bowles) who didn't give a flying fukk about the offense), an insistence on just running the football and hoping that would win the team games 15-9 and a fanbase that gave a 2nd rounder no leash whatsoever because they didn't really want him to succeed.

Breh, year 2 or 3 I forget, in a PRESEASON game, Geno threw a TD pass to Charone Peake and got booed for it at home. Mind you, this is a preseason game where eventually Christian Hackenberg played.

It's 3 games. Let's talk when the season is over. All I'll say is that Geno is an NFL quarterback. Whether a backup or a starter, he belongs in the league. For too long the NFL has systematically weeded out black QBs by essentially saying they're too stupid to be a backup QB. That job has largely been reserved for wack white QBs who are then immediately put on the pipeline to becoming coaches. That's how the old boys network gets refueled. Even Jameis Winston received a lot of slander from people saying he shouldn't be in the league. He's obviously not that good but...he's an NFL quality QB, starter or backup.

Brissett is another guy. Super smart QB, doing good in Cleveland right now while Watson is suspended. Belicheck groomed QB. One of the rare black QBs who is respected for being smart.
