It was a horrible combo of coaches (Rex and Bowles) who didn't give a flying fukk about the offense), an insistence on just running the football and hoping that would win the team games 15-9 and a fanbase that gave a 2nd rounder no leash whatsoever because they didn't really want him to succeed.
Breh, year 2 or 3 I forget, in a PRESEASON game, Geno threw a TD pass to Charone Peake and got booed for it at home. Mind you, this is a preseason game where eventually Christian Hackenberg played.
