Problem with you dumb ass republicans ( yes you're one) you don't realize that every government meetings is transcribed and accessible. The conversation that is going on was discussing insurance fraud caused by insurance companies charging exuberant prices. Amount of misinformation you republicans run up is crazy

This is not just about health care for America; it's about a healthier America. This legislation is about innovation; it's about prevention; it's about wellness. But most people haven't heard about that. And those people sitting at that kitchen table, they don't want to hear about process; they want to hear about results. They want to know what this means to them. And what it means is a health initiative that is about affordability for the middle class, lowering costs, improving access for them. Accessibility -- affordability and accessibility are closely aligned -- and accountability for the insurance companies.

So it is -- it's a very important initiative that we have to take. And I want to say, because Medicare was mentioned, unless we pass this legislation we cannot keep our promises on Medicare. We simply must make the cuts in waste, fraud, and abuse in Medicare so that the benefits and the premiums are untouched. We owe it to our seniors. We owe it to our country.

I am not talking about all the moves, or all the changes. I am just talking about the Recession fears, as far as what the administration has done. People beat this same shyt into the ground in 2022 and 2023, and a Recession never came. I think it's the same thing here. I think the tariffs and the pull back and the back and firth in the headlines is causing a lot of choppiness. If people were saying the economy was great under Biden, just 6 months back, the fundamentals should still be strong.

I would be interested to see what the experts were saying in 2008. I wouldn't know, I wasn't even following those years. I think the whole idea of sober minded experts has changed. But, that's a different subject. I am not supporting tarriffs, nor am I saying some of the moves aren't causing what looks like market turmoil. The stock market is another thing. If it goes WAY up in two weeks, is that good? Is that evidence of his policies working? Already today the DOW is out of the headlines.
We're going to agree to disagree here

how come schumer never said the phrase "of course there's wasteful spending" when he and biden were running massive deficits when they were in power?

Tim walz is great our resident cac and indian concerned about what endwokeness thinks

Gov Walz is the anti Musk. He's like the Reverse Flash to the Trump/Musk mold. He might not want to run for President himself, but if we have elections in 28, America might be ready to reverse the extreme rightward swing and take an equally leftward swing.

Dearborn mayor said those was his brothers but he disagreed with them around election time. I’d love to hear his thoughts now :wow:

Out here akh was telling me to trust the plan and give Trump 6 months to get the economy in order.

When Trump drives down the dollar, gets rid of payroll taxes, overtime taxes, and potentially the IRS we're going to be shytting in high cotton and what not.

I didn't needle them on the Gaza issue because we were talking about the tariffs and the economy... but he said Democrats historically had always sold out Muslims and pointed to the Dayton Accords fallaciously

let us know what the pack is hitting like out there when you get the opportunity
