Cutting programs that help schools and food banks get local food while farmers are already struggling? And with trade wars in full swing? They're intentionally trying to kill off segments of the country, just so they can give tax cuts to the ultra-rich.

Yeah, things can get really bad really quickly if they keep proceeding down this path. I find it impossible to believe that the steps that they’re willingly taking can be explained away as unintentional when the consequences start to take hold.

My local school system is forcing a referendum vote on some stuff in May because of this foolishness. I live in one of the blue areas of Indiana so we should be able to pass what we need done for the kids.

One of the things is that 70% of the kids are bussed to school and that's on the chopping block. New governor told her (school superintendent) to cut 1.5 million from the budget for the next school year.
