Your reply is nonsensical because you're not paying attention. I said that Democrats didn't make concessions to the anti-war groups in the context of the Israeli genocide of Palestinians, and cac mamba asked if it was due to the October 7th attack "throwing a wrench into the conversation", which is obviously nonsensical because the October 7th attack too place before the genocidal actions that the anti-war groups were asking Democrats to stop supporting. So the attack couldn't have "thrown a wrench into the conversation" when the entire conversation was taking place in the aftermath of the attack.

You trying to link this factual clarification to a normative argument about October 7th and Israel's response not being big deals is completely unsubstantiated.

You said October 7th was in the continuum of a wider “genocide” so why ask for a unique response from Democrats if the pre-October 7th context was inconsequential?

That's how it works. If the Democrats want to avoid being criticized by the left, they should move towards the left's position. Elon slashing the workforce of Units like the Social Security Administration won't affect the country? Everybody is either on, related to, or knows someone who is receiving those types of benefits.

It would be political malpractice not to talk about it.
