Youth and leftist groups were excited about kamala too until she laid out her corporation agenda plan around late August and focused on republican interest groups. Leftis were even starting to look past the Gaza genocide in hopes she would be the change they wanted, unfortunately kamala ran as being the milquetoast pro billionaire centrist democrat no one wanted.

The “youth" and leftists do not deserve the privilege, nor do they have the right to prioritize their issues over the masses of normal regular ordinary Democrats who each all have their own preferences and foibles to attempt to stop Trump from winning reelection. I said that Democrats didn't make concessions to the anti-war groups in the context of the Israeli genocide of Palestinians, and cac mamba asked if it was due to the October 7th attack "throwing a wrench into the conversation", which is obviously nonsensical because the October 7th attack too place before the genocidal actions that the anti-war groups were asking Democrats to stop supporting. So the attack couldn't have "thrown a wrench into the conversation" when the entire conversation was taking place in the aftermath of the attack.

You trying to link this factual clarification to a normative argument about October 7th and Israel's response not being big deals is completely unsubstantiated.
