I agree with your overall point but just one thing, privatization technically is the opposite of nationalization. In case anyone is asleep at the steering wheel it's pretty obvious they're trying to crash everything so they can nationalize industries ala N Korea or Russia under Trump's government.
Planes crashing? Musk takes over.
IRS? Now privatized by Musk
Farms t*ts up? Musk
All those beef and cattle farms will be under the purvey and supervision of private equity groups courtesy of Elon Musk.
He told you 10 years ago that he loved their uneducated asses and now he never needs their votes again he's punishing them and showing them what the deal is.
Just like Joker did in the first Batman movie when he told everybody he was giving out free money then poisoned them.

Anyway, one could argue that maybe except for prices and competition the state requisitionning private companies at least can be thought to be in favor of the taxpayers and public service (above all when it comes to infrastructure)
The techno-corpo takeover that is happening is nightmarish. The public sector isnt supposed to be profitable but they will axe services that are not and those that are will be deregulated and net money in corpo pockets rather than go back to taxpayers.
Crazy times.
