Come to think of it wouldn't be a bad time to level a new tax on younger workers to help fund Social Security and Medicare

2 days before he’s sworn in and he just dropped a meme coin and 80% of it was already held by one wallet.

But I guess this is what draining the swamp looks like
Don't worry I'm sure the populist right will stand up against this corruption!

How about the rich and powerful pay their fair share. They were the ones who supported military force in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Israel. Tax cuts for the 1% and near trillion dollar budgets for defense.

Why should younger workers be on the hook for something that the government should've been funding instead of neglecting?

There was a pretty clear mandate for Afghanistan, Iraq, and Israel from what I remember and they were also a drop in the bucket financially

Defense spending has decreased significantly since the GWOT was at its peak and is like 10% of the overall budget now lol. I think defense spending should be based on necessity and not looking at raw numbers like Elon Musk and etc.

Try not to forget the military is an excellent job creator and tech innovator that we all benefit from and helps keep America safe and prosperous.

Younger workers if not for the common good should be aiming to keep these programs sound or more to the point improved for themselves. Lets be honest they're not getting pensions and 401ks aren't going to be enough to prevent them from starving to death in a cold apartment at best.

I'm not against all but eliminating billionaires but you need more than that offers and you should know that.

There was no mandate for an Afghan invasion, nor nation building. People wanted Osama Bin Laden dead. Nobody wanted an invasion for Iraq, nor nation building as well.

Caping for the military complex is just nasty work :scust: Knowing damn well that they get an absurd amount of money for only a few and it's not beneficial for the middle class and lower income.

Instead of investing in Americans you would rather send them to the trenches?

Military propaganda in 2025?:palm:

We live amongst idiots.
Thats what happen when you let the right constantly frame what's happening in the country without having leaders who can consistently explain away nonsense. Biden could barely communicate a sentence and republicans have taken advantage by pushing the Overton window to the right. Also allowing social media companies to become so big without breaking them up, they have completely promoted what were seeing with the disinformation age. This happened in the Philippines before us, fortunately for them their constitution was able to grab back control

On September 14, 2001, Senate Joint Resolution 23 passed in the Senate by roll call vote. The totals in the Senate were: 98 Ayes, 0 Nays, 2 Present/Not Voting (Senators Larry Craig, R-ID, and Jesse Helms, R-NC).

What? The supply chains and amount of people involved would make your head spin. It's not all bullets and bombs. A "simple" base realignment can destroy entire communities and harm states. This only a few people or the elite narrative is entirely nonsense. If anything the CHIPS Act, war in Ukraine, and the preceding decade or 2 have shown America needs to refocus on domestic production across the board. I'm talking about in investing in Americans. Ideally there aren't conflicts but there needs to be a check against expansionist totalitarian powers particularly the ones today that are hell bent on eroding democracy for all of us, Jesus Christ.
